The rain and thunderstorms oh my! It was like the storm was on our roof! My poor stormy he spent the night under the recliner. It was so loud pounding on the roof. It rained and rained. In the morning we thought we would be floating away but everything was dry outside.
So we again pack up put things in there place and move on.
Maine is not nearly the vistas of NH and VT. It is also not the wealth of those two states. There is a tiny grocery store in most towns. The people either live in a trailer or a house that is so run down. The outside is filled with rusting crap. Or they live in tiny a White House. I think they are smaller than the RV of 40 feet! Most have a garage that’s as big as the house. Additionally, they have wood piles bigger than the house.
A lot of the traffic going the other way were these huge trucks with wood chips. El says they can make particle boards like for walls? The other traffic is logging trucks with huge logs..maybe to build homes? The ride was hard because of the windy road. El was glad to finally get to our campground but it started to rain. Couldn’t it wait a half hour! Anyhow, we were out of produce so we went to the local grocery Darden?. It was nice, small with competitive prices. So we got our salad stuff and fruit and veggies. We try and be healthy.
Time to rest up!
Some photos. Of the day
