Don’t want to get up! it’s still grey outside and oh no it’s starting to rain. The heater is on the fireplace is on! What does that tell you! It is in the low 60s or 50s does it matter I’m from Florida and it’s cold below 80!
Another day inside! I want to go and do and see and shop! I finished my book Renigate queen. It apparently is a series historical. I’m not sure I will continue with it. I’m more of a Europe historian than American history. But, it was good.
I’m trying to finish the other. Looks like today is the day. It’s also a good day to do laundry.
There is a notice in the laundry room watch out for fisher cats? What is that? They can be mistaken for minks about 12lbs! They attack small animals! They have seen bears as well here. So where’s the moose?
Met a couple who is building a home here in Maine! They came from the Florida Keys, nothing like going from one end to the other.
I wore long pants a sweater and sweatshirt to go to dinner. We went to Chinese food. because you eat lobster outside and the weather is awful!
We stopped in a store called Renys. It’s a Maine thing it’s got a little of everything part food part housewares part clothes, weird. But, I went into the food dept. and there was an entire get this entire wall of Bob Mills bags of food stuff! OMG! I Was in Heaven. You probably know them for like flours or oatmeal??
I have these recipes for all these up and coming grains and can’t find them…all here everything and more! For example amaranth, spelt, teff, and kamut! All up and coming grains. I was so excited to find them! I am not healthy lunatic, but we try not to eat anything white, like, bread, potatoes, cereals cookies d such. We try and have something green most nights. I am working on it.
We went to a Chinese restaurant for dinner. it was alright. But the younger folks are in shorts and a sweatshirt! Don’t they know it’s in the 50s!
I finished my other book when I found you. Didn’t end like I expected but it was a good book.
I hope tomorrow is better I am sick of the cold nasty weather. Besides my poor 3 year old tomato plant is dying😫. It’s leaves are yellow and at nite I’m sure it’s so cold. We will see.
