I had a bad night thinking of my kids. I am always worried about one or the other. I just want them to find some happiness.
Well, it’s Sunday and people are about every where. It is hot and humid like fl..why did I leave? Everyone says it’s never like this in Ohio!
We have French toast on cinnamon bread for breakfast YUMMO a treat! With VT maple syrup! But of course!
It is cloudy today so instead of taking a ride we decide to make it laundry day. I got in a mile and a half walking back and forth! The dryers were huge and even dried towels and socks in a half hour.
A lot of folks are packing up and leaving (yeah!) sorry but it’s just so crowded and we have the best site in here, and the river crowd is jammed packed too! Hey we were there, camping in small trailers, pop ups until we made it to the upper class of glamping….short for glamorous campers!
The difference for me is that we always camped in state parks so the sites were isolated from each other. Of course we were not traveling in a Sanibel 5th wheel 40. Feet long with a big truck. We don’t fit in those parks anymore. I do miss it.
I am still researching my excursions for South America. It is a slow process but fun.
It s raining off and on today glad we stayed put.
I started reading another book because El fell asleep and I didn’t want to turn on the light for zoo. I started Nightingale on my ereader and it kept me interested from the start. I have never read 3 at a time!
For dinner we had grilled wild salmon! With fresh green beans, YUMMO! We try to eat healthy, fresh fruit and veggies and beans, and wild fish. Non gmo free roaming crap! But it is pricey to do it. But we try.
Oh our friends the geese came back 34 of them. They came too close so El kept shooing them away. They don’t listen to well. It was a fun show to watch!
