Another day here! I broke my eye glasses. I found an eye glass kit but it didn’t have a screw that fit my nose pad! I am lost…but wait El fixed it..he used a tiny piece of plastic tooth pick! My hero!
It rained very early, it was so hard I thought someone was walking on the roof of the RV! I feel bad there are so many tents and pop up trailers and the park is packed! I Know what its like because I didn’t start out GLAMPING ( it means glamour camping) in such a 5th wheel as ours, like residential refrigerator, fire place, a/c flatscreen TVs, etc! You bet I went thru the tent, pop up,trailer, bigger trailer and so on, till this 40 foot 5th wheel and truck!
The rain finally stopped and we went for a ride thru the Mohican forest. Beautiful place. We went to an overlook as high as the tallest trees, we went to look at a covered bridge and, then to look at a pleasant valley dam all in the park. There were hikers everywhere.
It brought me back to the days when we as a family, in my former life used to go hiking with the kids with our golden retriever. He would hold his leash as we walked along the path!
It was beautiful and the scenery and vistas of greenery and there were trees of different shades of green. The lake created by the dam was beautiful. There were farms, and rolled up hay and corn fields.We stopped at the local store to get some green food, but didn’t beat the rain.. However it did stop so we could cook dinner outside! Fish so it’s a good thing!
Then I read my book, it’s good but disturbing to read about Paris during WWII.
