July 31 and August 1 and 2nd lo undo ville Ohio to Lakeville Indiana to wakarusa, Indiana

The days kind of fell together and less sleep I guess caused the delay.

Sunday July 31 was the last day in Ohio. We had no plans and hung around the campgrounds. el was in and out he loves to talk to the people. he was interested in the Amish and talked to them. turns out the man is a “Fourier “!  Know what that is?.. Makes shoes for horses!  I didn’t know that fact!  It was hot today, the river was like I 95 during rush hour! Kayak, tubes, floats canoes, yelling and screaming.  I sat outside and read my magazine and health articles. It was ok. I was ready to leave.

August 1, we left Ohio into Indiana.  Like what’s an Indiana? Growing up In NY, who knew from Indiana.  Near the city there are medical device firms, dePuy and Medtronics…oh so glad I don’t work anymore!

Aside from that, there are so many farms with acres of fields and corn, cows lots of them, you Gang  going by the huge barns.  Here and there you see horses. Barns are red like you drew in school! Some have serveral grain silos. You just can’t imagine all this on the road!

It was a long ride about 6ish hours. We pulled into a campground. We ate veggie burgers and went to bed. But, the good news we have tv.

I finished reading Nightingale, heavy duty book about WWII and a family who joined the nazi resistance. Totally liked the book, but it’s not summer reading!

Tues August 2 up before the sun!  Really!  I don’t get up before the sun. El is still after all these years, happy in the morning! We did not unhook so it was not hard to get it together! No Coffee! But, we had appts to have folks look at the trailer for its fixes.

Okay so Indiana is where trailers come from the factories here are all over the place. We brought it to one for review and pics, then another , and another.  Where we left it after serveral reviews of things gone wrong.

We went to this little dive for breakfast and had waffles. Those were good but the coffee was weak! So we went to walmart to fix my glasses. Rememeber the toothpick holding them together! They were very nice and fixed them.  Then we got a few things, but it is hot and the cats are in the truck.

So we ride around and find a park. We sat in the shade for a while I read my book.  El did the computer and we wasted some time. Then we went to grandmas grocery and Amish store. This place  had a metal rod to hold the Amish  horses. Walmart had an open garage with shade!

We ended back at the repair factory around 4:30pm.  They finished fixing some of the outside, but someone is coming at 7am to fix the dent in the frig! Help, Up before the sun 2 days in a row!

So they offered to let us stay in the lot of the garage where they are fixing the RVs.  Yep! Here we are in the parking lot! But, I am so tired and hot it doesn’t matter!

We made some burgers.  The cats are burnt out! We will see what tomorrow brings!

A few pics!
