Aug 4 th was Thursday we were suppose to drive to Michigan. BUT NO! They are not done. While my frustration goes up cause I don’t want to stay any longer in something like a Walmart parking lot, but worse. We are here for another night. I didn’t go outside. I read my Tudor book, must go slow, it’s worse than a history book. it has every detail, and if you are not knowledgeable about the Tudors forget it. The time period was my passion in college, ok so I have to wipe away a lot of cobwebs to get to the information. However, I do enjoy reading it. He has his opinion on why events happens a certain way, which is interesting.
Since I can’t read too much at a time. I started Everything
I Never told you, which seems interesting. It is my book club choice. I try to keep up with their picks even though I am a phantom member due to my travels, there are others you know who you are! Ha but I would never pick up these books and read them if it weren’t for the club. For that I am greatful.
I also read the zoo. Funny, by accident I found out it has been made into a TV show! Crazy, so is the premise of the book but so far it is an easy read and fun.

Aug 5th Friday we land in Mt Pleasant, MICHIGAN!
I get up again before the sun. El is still happy even in the early am. Smiling and humming! I growl. We are informed they will be done today! It’s one of those, when I see it I believe it things. But, around 11am EL says let’s pack her up! Yippee we are leaving. Let me say that the workers were so nice such gentlemen! They worked in the boiling heat all day from 7am to closing around 3:30. In fact, El tried to tip them and they refused to take it! It’s my job! Wonderful guys.
Michigan, what do you think of cars in Detroit, but we know that’s not happening like it did. Lakes sure enough if you look at the map they have water alright everywhere. We saw farms again, but hay and more hay stretching way out barn to barn. The homes are small but kept nice. Christmas trees are everywhere, it’s pretty. I love the blue ones. We reach the camp ground, beautiful brand new. Nice pool, lake sites are even with pull thrus. Yeah nice to relax. We took a walk had some fish and passed out.
