El is up early and dressed before I get up! Turns out breakfast is until 9am. Additionally he wants to go to a lecture. I know it will be technical and over my head so I say by.
It’s suppose to rain later today they are predicting doom and thunder! So I eat my yogurt and berries and get ready.
El returns and together we go into the vendor bldgs there are two! They sell everything from toilet cleaner to tires and everything in between. We do not find anything we must have today. It’s hard we have been camping forever so you accumulate stuff!
We decide to check out some RVs new models open for sale! I still love the new Sanibel the kitchen is in the rear, the TV is huge the bedroom is pretty much the same. But it’s 2 ft bigger and we need a new truck!
Well it’s noon and it starts raining, wasn’t suppose to start until 3pm. We manage to get a ride back to the RV. It’s pouring. It’s around 2:00. Dinner is at 5:00. We hang out but it’s still pouring at 4:30 so we head out with rain coats. It is a long walk in the rain and join the line outside. They do not open the doors until 5:30 really?
This is suppose to be the wow dinner. Okay I’m in. We go to the buffet line and there is veggies, grilled maybe 1/4 of a chicken breast and it looks like spare ribs cut into tiny bites, and salad.
Then another line you get a roll, butter, rice, and black beans.. Ok so the veggies are cold, the meat is eh and if this is wow I’m out! I heard they didn’t have enough food. I’m not impressed. There was a steel band and a speaker but it was hard to hear.
I sat next to someone from Minasooota…interesting accent.
After dinner everyone is still wet and it’s still raining we manage to get on a tractor pulling a wagon to get back to our site.
I was glad to get back. It s rating still. Ugh
