I am very frustrated regarding this post. I wrote the entire thing last night with pics. This morning I some how deleted it! Argh!
So if this is a duplicate sorry. We awoke and had a nice breakfast of quiche. We spoke to the wait staff regarding all the animals around Montana . They informed me they recently heard a mountain lion was killed, there was instances with black bear and moose who live in the near by marshes.
We told them we have alligators in the backyard and they freaked! Ha
The water to brush my teeth and take my vitamins is like drinking ice. So cold. So it was 31 degrees last night! It’s a high of 57 here in Montana. Yes we have several layers, underwear, sweaters, coats and hat and gloves on today. It’s cold!
We took a bus tour around the park. It is amazingly beautiful. The MTns are huge and have jagged edges of stone and have snow on top. The trees are so very dense mostly pine of sorts. The vistas and valleys are awesome. There are dips and waterfalls. You are up so high like 6,000 ft and some MTns go to 9,000 ft. It is a very dramatic landscape.
Then we took a boat ride on lake McDonald. It was so cold, water was 55 degrees, but it was so still and looked like glass!
We returned so tired but made happy hour imagine house and drafts $3.00 each! We has fish and delicious calamari for dinner.
