Sleep late! Ahah! Sleep until 10 am. Now that’s nice. We join our friends up on the 15th deck (we are on 11) towards the front. The mighty buffet. My husband wants an omelette…oh no not today! Sets a bad precedent. I pick lox, muesli I can’t make it like the ships! Fruit 1/2 choc. Chip muffin..yummo, over easy egg, and fruit. So fun to pick and choose.
We walked around. There is an abundance of oriental folks, neehow that’s hi in Chinese. The jokes of bonsai, Hyundai, non stop with my friends husband. My friend picked up a knife to scratch her back we thought she was going to throw it like a sword..you had to be there but it was funny.
We then decided to eat pizza. The weather outside is cold! Folks are wearing jackets! We find pizza, it’s ok. I got a piece with tuna ..don’t try it. Then we went to eat lunch. Food is key to a day at sea. At lunch I pick hummus, babaganush, eggplant gush, cheese, and fruit.
Then we went to a lecture on Effy jewelry, but of course. My panther is signature Effy…they had the whole collection! Where’s the money tree! Beautiful jewelry.
Then everyone took a nap..why all we did was eat! I fell asleep.
We met for dinner.more food. After eating again we went to see professional dancers do the tango. It looks so flawless and easy. Loved watching them.
Then we went to play name that Motown tune..we got 20 points out of 40. One couple got 30. We may have been 2nd or 3rd but doesn’t matter. After that was karaoke. Oh my goodness it was so bad. We listened to 3 never heard of the songs and they were so lousy we left.
We then ran into a martini demonstration. Pretty cool there was a display of flare bartenders. Then a bartender took 11 glasses and filled all 11 glasses at once stacked upon each other. We saw that before and it’s pretty cool.
By now it’s getting near 10pm and we are crashing, what a bunch of old foggies! In my yut I stayed up all nite! At least past midnight!
