Up early again for another tour, but this time of Lima. We drove thru Callo and there were colored bldgs. Bars still on the winds. However old run down. We pass into Lima.
I have been in NYC, Miami, Rome terrible traffic and careless cut throat driving. Lima takes the prize. Reason, there is a huge population and the only transportation is a bus or your car. There are no subways or trains. It takes people 2hours minimum to get to work!
There are areas like any city. The average places have decent apt. Bldgs, some houses have wood garage, some have the car behind bars. The nicer neighborhoods have parks, flowers, and then the beach condos over a million dollars.
We went to city center. I was not happy. They were expecting riots. Police with shields, water tank car, machine guns by the palace. I just wanted to go.
We then went to an outdoor mall. It was fun shopping. They are famous for baby alpaca. It is so soft! I bargained for a shawl. Then they are famous for a greenish stone something cola. I got a pretty necklace of stone.
We came back had lunch and passed out. Woke and met my friends for dinner. Italian night, veal scallopini, limoncello sorbet yummo. Teramisu for dessert.
My friend and I joined a game guess the most popular answer.it was halarious. Then we went to hear a man sing show songs with a very powerful voice.
