So you take the cruise to go around South America and experience the Cape Horn. However, 7am the capt comes on scares half the ship awake to tell us the winds are too strong and we can not go around the Cape Horn! So there! The ship was kneeling..meaning leaning to one side on purpose because of the wind..weird.
We got ourselves together and had breakfast in the dining room. I’m actually feeling better. It’s nice to be served breakfast. Besides to take a tray to a table is risky in a shaken ship!
We then went back to the room and feel asleep. Woke up in time for the art auction! Oh yes I got the fish painting by Marcus Glen. Wow it is awesome one of a kind. I know where to put it too! Stop laughing it is not the ceiling either! We luv it. AND I won the raffle for a free painting! Yes just what I need!
Then we walked around and decided to take showers and get ready for formal night.
We went to the 18th floor the sky bar. It is a huge room with a bar fancy lighted dance floor from underneath. They had sushi for the private club. Those that have cruised princess for so many days. we enjoy the sushi, but Princess has reduced drinks where Celebrity and RCI have free drinks! We sat at a table near the glass window, it was freezing in there. So we had one drink, I had a margarita. BUT, it came in a very tall thin glass and was orange in color? Not what I remember a margarita to be.
We went to the buffet for dinner. I had soup, a slice of lamb, a spoonful of sweet and sour pork, a spoon of ratatouille, spoonful of curry chicken and a sliver of THIS and that cake.
Then we got me some tea. I still have a slight cough. We got seats and listened to the guy play piano. We had to go into the art gallery and shore up my purchase. We saw part of the Showand the tango couple. Then stopped by Effy cause the panther made a get away (fell off my finger) and dah, they took it off and moved it over two fingers. Boy, did I feel dumb! When you see it you will get it. There is no adequate description I can come up with. Then we got pouches for my panther.
We are done. Get some more tea and get to bed. It’s 10:30. We have no plans on Stanley island. I don’t think I can rattle my back to see more penguins. It’s going to be cold. We will play it by ear what to do.
