We left home about 2pm. We were careful not to bring out the cat carrier until the last moment. We checked the house over and over to ensure we got everything. Off we go to deliver our kids to my son. They, or the black one, hates it there he is scarred of the dogs. The white one comes out eats walks around finds the litter. He is at home. Reminds me of my 2 boys brought up together but completely different.
We stop at Verizon cause we got this free notebook and when you plug in the charger there is a battery with a ?. They confirmed it’s dead. Like kaput dead. Oh but we can get a new one for free. BUT, there’s a start up fee $40, then $10 monthly..so that’s for free? No thanks….garbage.
Then we got gas and on our way to Orlando airport. The GPS tells us to get off at the wrong road..we don’t. Good move we got there sooner. We are staying at the double tree. The best parking deal we are leaving the car for a MONTH! $65.00. Best deal for sure! We ate at the Longhorn Steak House. Don’t remember eating in one before but this one had nice western cowboy paraphernalia like, hats, saddles, neat decor. My mango margharita was yummo, Elliot had a Montana Mule in a silver mug, pretty good too! We saw them a lot when we we eating in the glacier mountain park restaurant!
We checked out the hotel and went to our room. The king bed is huge. We tried to co-ordinate our flights. Figure out where the “priority lounges” are located and how to ensure our luggage goes from plane to plane both Delta but were reserved separately. It’s complicated.
It doesn’t feel like I’m going on a cruise yet. My husband says it’s because I’ve been on too many. Maybe as I get closer to Sydney and see our friends it will get exciting.
