We head out on our ship tour bus thru the town, store after store and to the prison. A world heritage site. It was very interesting it was huge and operated from 1860 to 1990s. There was even a gilotine for which 1 woman was hung. It was a grim place. the guide was funny and treated us like inmates.
From there we went to a maritime museum. It was lost on me. Yep, had the sail boat k2 that beat USA. It had all sorts of boats and machines and stuff. my husband got more out of it.
We then went to an indigenous folk art place. Very high end. And pricey. We decided to walk in town and not go back on the bus. We walked around and around not finding much. I wanted a cute koala bear..all the stuffed one come from China! Really? But, we went thru a market, mostly crap and food, but on Sunday it was packed. We started walking to the bus back when we stopped in the last jewelry store, yes, imagine my friend is worse than me, yes worse, and I found the cutest koala bear necklace had to have it..
Came back and split till dinner. We decided to have lunch a small something. Oh but they had yummo spare ribs with meat and hardly any fat. Then fried butterflied shrimp, and egg rolls wow! I over ate my quick bite. Dinner in 2 hours. Eat again,couldn’t eat much but did I give up teramisu, hell no!
We went to the show. Total Neal Diamond copy. I wasn’t such a fan but he was good and funny.
