Up early, but the thunder storms according to El were insane and the cats were so unsettled. It’s like a hammer right above your head in an RV.
Some yogurt for breakfast, but the packing of the inside is my chore. Crazy with so many bags of crackers and noodles and snacks! Not to mention both our med buckets!
But, I have it down and find I can fill ever nook and cranny in this RV! So we pack up and leave. The sky is so dark and grey luckily we make it with only drizzles.
The cats haven’t ridden in the truck for a while so they are whining not settling down. I look in the back and one of them threw up all their breakfast…such a huge mess. Stop at a gas station to clean it up. Keep riding and stormy starts foaming at the mouth and drooling big time! Flings his head, OMG! You can imagine.
The trip was nice, towns have old houses lined up down the road. Then farms and green nice. It’s cooler too.
We pick a site none are great but this one has some trees. We are here for nearly 3 weeks. It’s ruff when July 4th is in the way. On the way up El remembers every store, every road, restaurant, market it’s mind boggling!
Yet he doesn’t know where the statue of David is located? What you don’t either?
We set up and the rain begins. Please go away. Rain rain and more rain. The cats eat and are happier.
It’s dinner time already, we make sausage, pasta…because a bag opened in the pantry on the bumpy ride and it was everywhere! Peas and carrots and sauce. Did you know sausage requires browning and boiling for 12 mins? So says the sites on the computer! The were delicious! We had Bill pinot noir wine from Chili….outstanding! I think I got it when we were in South America. Don’t know if I can get it here? I will look into it.
We signed up for cable TV. Maybe that will help. Well I read some of my book.
Oh El found a jar of olives which fell and the juice ran out. The jar is missing? He can’t remember where he put it! It’s a getting older thing!
