June 27 & 28 at campground

Honestly, I don’t remember yesterday. I remember getting up and doing some exercise then talking to my son for awhile. Someone complained about his dog looking to thin. His one dog gets rather scraggly when he sheds. He looks awful and he hates brushing. But, he needs to get his shots.

I remember we took a walk, it’s starting to get boring because we have seen the sites and the RVs.

We had a shrimp stir fry which was excellent, but I forgot how I made it. I do remember putting in basil paste and garlic.

I watched the democratic debate. It’s scary to think of socialized medical I hope we don’t have to deal with it.

June 28

So up exercise and breakfast and get ready to go to a commercial laundry. I got all the laundry and we went to town to the laundromat. The ride was windy, up and down the mountain with turns here and there. These people choose to live here and I can’t imagine the snow and cold in winter…crazy!

The place was really nice, they had about 20 industrial dryers and 15 commercial and 10 regular washing machines. But they had a service of doing laundry for you. Oh, I remember back when we brought our cloths to a Chinese laundry in Brooklyn and did the wash and fold for a small price which I don’t remember.

Then we went to a supermarket Price Chopper! Oh my goodness what a beautiful store. Like above Whole Foods and Publix’s. The depts were amazing. The meats were cut like a butcher. The fish…oh my, the shrimp were gigantic, fresh lobsters, I bought wild salmon and the fish man cut it and wrapped it in paper. I remember the days when I lived in bay ridge Brooklyn. I walked to the Main Street, maybe 3rd ave. And there was the fish store and meat store and veggie store and you would order specific cuts and they would wrap it in white paper and deliver it all labeled! Oh back in the day!

Oh the cakes! They were gorgeous! The decorations! The bagels are made there…I had to put my foot down and get some! I even got honey walnut cream cheese! Haven’t seen that science I left NY.

It was so clean, even the refrigerated stuff were in closed units. How nice!

Okay so honestly I am getting tired of this place and we aren’t leaving until after the 4th. But, I will make due.

We start heading toward Maine after this and it should get more interesting. The weather has been beautiful. Someone took the space behind us and he is a real character so El is totally enjoying him. It’s like 2 campground mayors.

I made spaghetti sauce a big batch, I thru the refrigerator stuff in it. It ended up with 3 other dinners. It was pretty yummy!

Tomorrow’s another day

Some pics of the ride today they were pretty windy
