Oh a happy day! I love shopping in outlets, even if you don’t find anything….which never happens! So I was hoping up and out quick breakfast! No sloowly we get together, slow breakfast of eggs. Had to make a phone call, etc. we didn’t leave until noon! Noon! And there was traffic!
But we get there and this outlet is enormous! You can’t even walk the entire place let alone go in all the stores. So we walk to the far end and shop coming back. Funny how some places I loved, now that I’m old and retired, the store doesn’t have anything but work clothes. So I went in to stores like black and white, Ann Taylor, Michael Kor, north face, timberland, even dress barn didn’t have anything I wanted. Surprisingly, I went to Loft and found 3 tops a little dressy but you know when you have to buy It? I also got something at jCrew. My husband insists I have to throw out 2 things for every one I buy! The truth is I probably could and not miss them. There I admit it.
BUT, there are so many other stores where we did buy! Like bed and bath, legs and Bali, Hanes, Columbia. I love this store I only wish I need there really nice outdoor warm clothes, but I live in Fl. BUT, my son and his girlfriend live in WA and her BD is near mine. I don’t know her, but I would like to, she has been a god send for him. I took the plunge and got her something I hope she likes. They do a lot of camping and hiking. Ah, to think back to those days😁. Now we glamp!
In fact I even got something for our glamper! I bought a toaster oven! Yup that’s what we needed! Now it’s refurbished kitchenaid , but I thought I could be a sport for $40!
So there is a winery at the outlet where they have a tasting of 5 wines $5! Keep the glass! We would have gone anyway, besides the deal! A couple of wines were ok, the pouring was fair! I’m still partial to Gnarly Head luv that brand!
I shopped till I dropped! Yup, my neck started to ache. So we had to go back. We stopped at Price Chopper for a few things. I love this food store. It’s nicer than Publix.
We drove back by 6:30pm and I was exhausted and I was going to make a stir fry with tofu. But, El went to the frig and pulled out all the left overs. There was plenty.
