Oh no rain again! I exercise dress and oh no! I gained 2lbs really? Lobster and blue berry pie with vanilla ice cream and butter for the lobster…it’s an unfair world! I do admit to totally enjoying it😂
But, today we slow it down. Eggs for breakfast, with fruit and 1/2 a muffin. It’s laundry day. So I pack all the stuff in a laundry bag. It’s a rainy day so laundry is good. We drive into town or the intersection with all the big stores.
Dump our clothes in a machine, $3.00 x 2. The machines are small. We walk over to Remys store. It’s got stuff like an area for some clothes, some good some raunchy. The prices are good. Then they have this area with food. A lot of it is from Maine. Or at least New England. They have a huge selection of Red mill brand. I think I have the name right? Anyhow, the prices are really good for that brand. They had a lot of Roland brand, oriental noodles, and lots of lobster this and lobster that, like soup, stock. I don’t remember what I bought but I spent about $60.00. Luckily we remembered we keep plastic bags in the back for the cats. They charge for bags!
It took too long between the laundry and shopping at Remys that we didn’t have time to go to the LLBean outlet. El promised that another day when we go to this little store that sells homemade blueberry everything!
We drove thru the other loop that is in the park. It is mainly for smaller units that can back in instead of pull thru. But they too have plenty room with tree dividers so it’s nice.
We unpacked our stuff. I made a huge salad with every leftover in the frig dumped in! It turned out pretty good!
Oh, I forgot to write how awed and surprised I was to get so many wonderful comments on my lobster picture. Just luv yas. I am blessed to have so many people who actually read this blog and enjoy it!
Well I tried to watch tv but it’s limited and the channels aren’t working well. Probably because it’s raining like crazy and it’s so noisy banging on the roof! Stop!
I might as well go to bed!
