BANG BANG ALL NIGHT! RAIN slammed all night! It didn’t stop from the time we got in to the morning when we were getting ready to leave! A nightmare for many!
The airports, and folks going to work, accidents, loss of light! Crazy! We got up and got ready to leave. El dressed in rain gear to unhook everything!
We started in Massachusetts, then we went to Connecticut, then thru New York and ended in PA. The rain luckily went east as we went west. So some drizzle and dark clouds but we made it ok. There were massive mountains with packed trees, not the ones of Maine. We saw mtns that were cut stone, we went over rivers, thru quaint towns, thru PA state park.
We got gas, and that was torture! The first station because we are an RV and require truck fuel we had to line up with the big boys and waited 40 minutes to get gas. The second station was crazy, trucks, and we are talking 50 and more feet massive things, leaving directly in front of us, like 6″ away! We watched 3 backing into parking spaces to park in front of us, while the line for fuel went around them! It was crazy like an action movie!
Then the signs I missed! Oh a huge moose caution at least 4, caution animal collision area, no salt area, yellow flashing light crossing deer picture! Im not as fast with the camera as I use to be!
Then the houses some were huge! The ones with wrapping porches white with big windows!
Well we made it. Had hotdogs and salad for dinner. Not big on food when we travel all day. I petted the cats for at least an hour so they wouldn’t get sick! It worked they were good.
Tomorrow another moving day!
