I wake up and drama! My son in Florida, his car won’t start the battery is dead! After trying to jump it, it is finally towed to advanced auto and I got him a new battery!
Round 2, he has no a/c in his car! To be continued…
We decided to go to Aldis store. It took the local roads and it’s pretty here. The houses some are old and kept up, some are not. The farms aren’t quite as huge, but the corn is way high. The lawns and fields are green, probably from all that rain!We saw a horse trailer in front of us getting gas. This woman opened the window and the horse bent to give her a kiss, very awesome!
We saw some Amish, one buggy at the store, and some selling baskets on the street side.
We are in a nice camp ground and have a spot on the river, it is very very muddy looking but moving very fast. People are renting kayaks and don’t have to paddle!
We made grilled pork chops, with salad. As a side I put red split lentils in the rice cooker. They had the consistency of mashed potatoes and actually tasted better than they looked. We ate outside it is very pretty.
We don’t have tv so I am reading my next book twisted fate the beginning. I like it so far. Time will tell.
Tomorrow we stay put!
