We got up early and got ready to move on. We entered Wisconsin and the view was not much different. Except the further we got the less we saw the unending corn fields. We started to see advertisements for Wisconsin Dells. Unending! What is it? A tourist area with rivers and camping galore. The things you see from the hywy are all done in cabin style. The are many waterparks, even attached to motels or resorts.
There is some written about the stones which we caught here and there.
The next thing we started to see are cranberry bogs. We have seen them before, it’s like green grass that gets soaked with a water supply.
We found our campground and OMG it was like Disney world so many people, kids playing swimming, golf carts everywhere. They have at least 2 huge swimming pools, a beach with sand and water, a fishing lake. Water has fountains and slides. To me it’s crazy! The place is huge!
Now when you think Wisconsin what do you think of? Cheese but of course! So while El didn’t want to unhook because we leave tomorrow, he agreed to take me to the nearest cheese place!
I wish my son from WA was here he would have loved tasting all the cheese, especially the hot ones! But each one was delicious and they gave you as much as you needed to make up your mind! I ended up with many, for example, mozzerella, red wine cheese, smoked Swiss, smoked gouda, chocolate cheese yummo, a cheddar maybe another, fresh butter and whole cream cheese! It was so fun there were so many choices.
We came back had salad and soup to tired to get into cooking much. Tomorrow will be bad. We are going all across Wisconsin to Minnesota. Good thing the iPad has auto spell check or I would be stuck at the heading!
