Indiana to Ohio, well we are heading home! Up at 6:30AM. AM! That is before the sun is awake! But, I do my exercises dress eat breakfast, yogurt. I put the RV away inside, El does the outside. At about 9:45AM we are on the road. I haven’t done my. Weights and I know it makes it harder.
Well the drive is long and we pass the same amazing corn fields that don’t end. The huge silos, barns and cows. It is a different way of life. But, I noticed how so friendly everyone is. Everyone calls you darling, honey, and they open doors for me.
We did see this one field that must have had over a dozen horses. I wish I had a picture.
We noticed that you go for many miles and then drive thru a small town 2 streets that cross. Buildings have dates in the 1800s, impressive. The thing I loved was the homes right after the town or before. They were so pretty with spirals or turrets. I tried to get pictures.
I had a big box I was sending to my son. His girlfriends BD is 2 days after mine. We are going thru this little town and we pass I post office and I screamed stop. Luckily there was a space open near a fire hydrant. We were sticking out in the street. But, of course we are close to the size of the town! I jump out grab the box and run to the PO. Well my goodness it was the size of a small bathroom; 1 lady at the counter! When I got out a cop was at the corner! I could not run across the street because the light was green. The light changed, I ran and we missed a ticket and the box is on its way!😃
We finally got to our campground. A beautiful tree was turning colors. Miss that in Fl.
We had dinner left over pork tenderloin, but I had to make corn. We only have 6 left. It’s so yummo!
I tried to watch the demo debate. I’m not going to be political in my blog. I finished my book the forgotten hours. It was good and kept me going but towards the end it got way to complicated. A situation occurred in the book, which kept me going. But by the end, the story gets very involved how the characters handled it, and for me it was too much all at once. I don’t know if what I swrote makes sense? But, I don’t want to ruin it for anyone else who reads it.
I had to cancel bookclub at my home. Not happy about it. But El said even if we got home a day or so early. We need to empty the RV which will cover the house and then laundry. Then the house needs to be cleaned, I realized he was right.
Now with a storm coming we may change our route and go west a bit so we won’t get the brunt of the rain with the RV. That may add a day. Better to be safe then sorry.
Tomorrow up and go again.
