Sept 19 North Carolina to South Carolina

I can finally feel like I’m going home. This portion down 95S is becoming to familiar. There is not much. To write. We did see the cotton fields. Drove too fast for picture. I like this campground in SC. It has those trees that have the hanging stuff. I think they are called Irish moss.

The worst part, it is love bug season! Just awful! They are like walking in a curtain of black bugs. We parked in our campsite and it took less than 5 minutes to cover the truck. They are drawn to white. I spent the ride reading the small print of our time share.

Tomorrow is another day!

  1. Hi there. Being that I’m a Georgia girl, thought I’d let u know those trees are called Live Oak trees and the moss is Spanish Moss…..at least that’s what Georgians and South Carolinian folks call it.
