I finally slept a little later we made it to breakfast by 9:30am. I swore I would not get out of control! Didn’t work, I had eggs Benedict added a piece of smoked salmon. Then I had pastry, yummo! No control!
By the time we left, oh I forgot to include the entire passenger list went to breakfast late! We could not find a table! We had to eat outside!
We then went to the art action. We always enjoyed it. The auctioneer was fun and kept it moving! So okay I did get one! It’s a picture of trees during the fall! I have nothing like it in my gallery! I wanted a cute cat made of resin, but for over $4,000.00 it’s a bit pricey.
When this was over we went to the diamond club room that was tucked behind a stage with a curtain. Pretty poor way to treat you returning passengers. There was bingo on the other side and it was loud in this room. We had cappuccino. While we were there an employee came to set up a bar for happy hour. It was stuck behind a curtain. We came back to have a drink before dinner and there wasn’t even a seat left!
We met his bro and wife and went to a bar on the 11th floor. We ordered drinks, we are diamond and get free drinks. My husband orders Bloody Mary! Waiter looks at list and says it’s not there! But vodka is on it! So we had to order vodka with tomato juice..really??? Then it took forever to get the drinks! We couldn’t find the other bro!
We went to the dining room. We ordered dinner at a table for four. In walks the other bro! Momentary confusion to add another chair into a four person table! However, we manage to eat, I had French onion soup which was a meal with bread and tons of cheese. I order lamb shank and could barely eat it! But, dessert is another story! I had banana bread and coffee ice cream.
Wewent and caught the end of the show, some mind magicians we were too late.
We returned to our room. Tomorrow is another tour.
