Oct 10 katalonon Greece

I slept late we had no tour for this town. We all go have breakfast and decide to take a walk around. We get off the ship and it starts to pour rain. We run to the duty free store. The rain doesn’t stop so we ran back to get umbrellas. We leave again and make it to the duty free store. still raining. We walk around the store for a while and the rain lets up. We decide to go and when we get to the customs gate it stops.

There is one long street. They are selling, cloths, leather sandals, olive oil, olives, loads of jewelry, baklava, and naked Greek statues.

We walked the street and found this old couple, like in their 90s, in a little tiny store selling stuff. I had to get something so I got olive oil and olives. They didn’t charge tax. Then we start talking to this man sitting outside. Turns out he owns the jewelry store on the corner, He explains he has been around the word. He explains he was a runner and carried the Olympic torch! He had it in his shop. Pictures everywhere, it was pretty awesome. The torch is very heavy!

I of course, bought a matching necklace and earrings of the Greek laurel, like the crown.

We went back to the ship, and I tripped on a step and went flat out on the ground. This oriental man came immediately to help me up. Luckily, I was shaken, but ok, not even a scratch!

We went for lunch, always to much food. We went back to the room and I slept. Got up changed went to the room for diamond members and had port. Then to the art unveiling. The Lopez fishes were there. We were given a price for both.

Then we went to dinner. There was a row of all seafood, shrimp, scallop, mussels, octopus, I was a happy camper!

Then we all talked for a while. We went to guest service to check our bills.

Then we went to the show. The family missed another good one. It was 3 violins and a bass. They were excellent players but they made a comedy of what they played. It was good and funny.

No pictures. I’m totally frustrated with the service for internet on this ship.

Luv yas if your hanging in😁

You live a good life (and lucky, too, not hurting yourself when you tripped) — I’m expecting to see your new necklace and earrings at GHWC.
