Oct 15 Athens, Greece

We have been here before more than once, and as our room Stewart said, the ruins are still there! We could not go again. I wanted to go to Plaka it was more than 30 euros pp.

We decided to just take a walk along the street outside the terminal.

Walked quite a bit. It turns out the streets below the business buildings were all coffee shops with expressions, and made sandwiches, pastries and fresh bread. but, one after another, street after street.

We also noticed many folks travel on motor scooters or bikes. They park them along the sidewalks.

We found a place called the bread factory.. It was amazing. first I never saw a bakery so gigantic! It had glass cases of cookies, pies, cakes all elaborately decorated so pretty!

They also served lunch you moved your tray and indicated what you want. We got what they called a bagel, it was the size of a pretzel and filled with olives, tomatoes and pimentos..yummo! It was so fresh! And it cost 1.5 E! Crazy!

We walked back, nearly got killed 2x by motor bikes! We got back and my neck hurt from watching the grooved pavement and stone walk way.

we walked thru duty free shops and found a little horse and chariot! It screams Greece. So we had to get it. We then went back to our room and get ready to eat dinner.
