We wake up not happy about this Hilton Garden, the temperature was either too hot or too old. We went to breakfast. It’s a restaurant in the hotel they charge $13.00, being “diamond” it’s free. But, it wasn’t that great. I hate to write this but this lady had the hugest butt I have ever seen, crazy right! But, my mouth dropped open. Sorry had to get it off my mind. We get our stuff together to catch the buss to the pier. It was a full bus! Lots of cruisers.
We get on board this ship, it is huge 6000 people! We found free drinks and then signed up for specialty restaurants. You pay more but we have found them to be very nice and food very good. We even signed up for Park 150 an upscale Mediterranean restaurant for tonight.
We found our room sort of in the middle balcony overlooking Central Park. We wipe everything down. Our big suitcase is not here so we unpack the little ones and decide to go for a walk.
People are everywhere. The ship is so huge from end to end it’s a walk. We found the buffet on the 16th floor, our room is on 12. It is so huge. It must have seating for thousands. We just picked up some food and went back to find suitcase not yet!
We have to go to emergency drill in a bar. They played a skit that was a take off on James Bond. It was very cute and funny, at least we were laughing. By the time it was over it was happy hour. So we go to the diamond lounge free drinks! I go for wine but he gives me two glasses of Chardonnay, I guess one for my husband, but he ordered red. The place was packed. We found a table in a corner. We didn’t eat the snacks hot appetizers. We stayed and talked with folks until it was dinner time.
We went to the fancy restaurant Park 150. I had lobster Thermidor and he had lamb Wellington. Both we amazing. I had 2 martinis with dinner. After I had a bourbon and coke. After all this I was gone. Don’t remember anything after.
Apparently we eventually we ended back at the room and got our suitcase and I unpacked everything. Don’t remember but had a headache during the night which required Tylenol which helped.
