Once again, get up exercise and get dressed and go upstairs for buffet breakfast. However, I am controlling the need to have everything! So today I had salmon on cranberry bread. Then I added fruit. Done!
We went down to the board walk floor and found a seat we wasted an hour talking to folks along the street.
Then we went to the auction, oohhh no! I fell in love with two things😱 I swear I had no intention Of buying art! Stop laughing! I got another small Tarkay, the ones over my couch, and another 3 dimensional piece like the cat on my table but it’s not an animal..you will luv it!
After the auction I had to have a piece of pizza. They make good pizza for a ship. We hung out and went back to the room. I sat down and passed out! I woke had some wine and changed for dinner. Specialty chops grill restaurant.
First we had to to settle with the auctioneer for our purchase. He gave us a great deal. But, like others he seemed like a genuine guy. Hopefully, we can spend more time with him.
We went to dinner, turns out they have a recording of birds, too bad we were on the ship when they were real.They also had a piano playing Billy Joel music that sounded live, but it too was a recording. Dinner was very good, I had crab cake, mushroom soup that was awesome , leg of lamb was very good, we had asparagus spinach and potatoes, he had prime steak which was excellent. Dessert was cake and ice cream which was good. I wasn’t blown away,but it was nice.
We went to sit on the street oh earlier in the afternoon before art we saw the pirate parade. It was fun we saw a lot of guys and gals from the diving and dancing show the night before.
At night we saw the band that played 50s and 60s music. It was fun and we watched people dancing. We danced the last dance!
We finally made it back to the room so I can write my blog!
I worried about my son going to mayo, but I felt A big huge relief knowing my good friend went with him, bless her heart!
