Good morning! I am writing this on the 22nd. Yesterday I had such a headache the entire day! Not a migraine, I never had one of those, but this all day thing was awful because I really am not a headache person. I feel bad when I get one and think of those who suffer. I remember my son got bad ones. Hopefully not anymore.
Yesterday I get a push with a get up and the lights on! At 6:40am! How rude who gets up at this hour at my age! El is out saying good morning to the workers! Yicks! I gotta get going, jump into to my clothes, brush my teeth, wash my face get my vitamins done. Yeah the bed is fixed for good!
Well the A/C is installed and don’t work! 😱 Dan the man figures it out. He is the best RV guy! Any problem, he has the knowledge to fix it! In the meantime, we have fruit and cereal to gobble down. El goes out and finds missing cork spots and this and that, he Is one with his RV, some of my book clubers knows what that means ha.
It is 9:16am and we are really leaving this place. I forgot to mention it is 33 degrees! Yup it hurts when it hits your face! I can’t imagine how all my VTer friends survived a winter! I guess they didn’t know there was a warmer winter! They do now in Florida! But it’s also why they can’t survive a summers humidity and sweltering heat! So they return to VT . Hell, that’s why we have our RV, gone in the summer months!,,,
We are on the road finally. I am reading a good book, a Tender Land, it was a bookcub choice. I am enjoying it. The other book was The Water Dancer. It was very interesting but it didn’t move fast because it included the language and terms used during the times of the slavery in the south and the underground. I would not recommend it though unless you seriously want to read about that time. I like history stories so I got thru it.
we bring our bathroom so when we stop for gas we go in the RV. The truckers are not wearing masks or gloves. I have a headache and I use my neck pillow.
We finally arrive in our campsite about 4:30pm. I make a bourbon and cream drink. Then make dinner, a mixture of what’s in the frig. Sausage, kale, tomatoes, onions, garlic throw it together with some pasta and voila dinner! Aah with wine!
Well my head hurt so much after dinner, I lay down on the bed and pass out. I wake at 11:30pm change my clothes and go to sleep. But, my head still hurt, at 3:30am I get some water and Tylenol. Hope that helps.
since I’m writing this the next morning while driving, yup my headaches finally gone! Yippee! And I’m in Kentucky it never got out of the 30s. 🥶

I forgot to mention that we were on a hywy at 65mph and there are streets across it! In fact at one point there was a red light and a farm truck with a huge piece of farm equipment attached went across the rode! picture above Really!,,AND
you don’t see cars for sale but those huge pieces of farm equipment are for sale! And El actually knows what they are called and what they are for. I swear he was a farmer in another life! The menusha that he has in his brain never ceases to amaze me!
One other thing I forgot to mention is the pretty fields of yellow flowers the bottom right. So pretty. The trees too were getting flowers of yellow and every so often a pretty purple. But, the speed makes it hard to get a picture it comes out a blurr.
