It is finally here! We are going camping for the summer! There is so much packing back and forth house to RV. We brought the RV 2 days early to the house. Great idea, I had to loose a lb back and forth loading stuff. Finally, after so many triple checks we are ready to go. Now, don’t ask me where everything is because the RV is ready to burst and I put stuff wherever it fit. I know it will catch up with me. Our frig. Has never been so full. We are iffy on going to restaurants yet.
It was time to get Stormy the cat. Oh no he is not going! He hides behind the futon and it was torture to get him out. He is so scared. It started to rain just as we were leaving the house.
The ride was pleasant enough straight hywy. The yellow flowers in the middle of the hywy were pretty. We saw little cows. We stopped for gas once and the car area was blocked. Luckily we use the truckers area for diesel.
I read my latest book, Relative Fortunes, it is interesting, but it waits till near the end to figure out the point of the story and it gets you caught up in the story.
We finally get to our campground, checking in was easy we found our spot and got set up. I decided to make flatbread pizza for dinner. I didn’t take anything out of the freezer. I go to put it in the toaster oven…the pizza is too high! Oh no, cheese is stuck and burning. I try to help it and get burned. What a mess! In the long run it came out great! But, why is there always a but? El starts to take out the wine cork with this device we have,…..what happens? It pushes the cork into the bottle with a splash! Yes right onto my nice shirt! Argh! At a minimum!
We eat and settle down, the cats settle down we clean up. It is the final on TV the voice, I am a fan. Well thanks for joining me on my summer RV trip.
