I had breakfast at 10:30am. That’s early lately we are eating around 12:00! We decided to take a walk around the campground. We were surprised how empty it was compared to last weekend. The pool was open and kids were having fun. I don’t think they were following any rules!
We witnessed the security a manual metal pole that someone has to come and raise manually by hand and hold up while cars come in! Embarrassing is all I can say!
We also saw a bus with an Alaska, yes, Alaska license plate! Really? Far away from home for sure!
We came back and it was a beautiful day, not a cloud in the sky. I went and got a magazine and my book and sat outside in the sun and read. I even put my country music radio station on. After a while it got really hot! I went in and got an orange and a beer! I had trouble drinking a can of beer. You have to put your head back to get what’s in the can! I know that sounds like but of course. The exception is that my neck doesn’t go back! I have to lean my body back to get it. I did finish it but it wasn’t easy! Oh go ahead an shake your head!
i am struggling with the book I am reading, The man who played with fire, I think that’s the name, it’s boring. I don’t like to put a book down because someone went thru the trouble to write it. I know the other side of the coin is there are so many books you can pick and read what you like. I know I am in the middle. I shall see.
I was going to make chicken for dinner but the weather was perfect and El suggested we BBQ. We have these amazing huge steaks. We decided the chicken can wait until tomorrow and we took steaks out. Yummo! With corn and salad! Wine on the side. I’m good! We ate outside such a nice day.
We started watching this concert of all the old time singers on public television. I feel really old I remembered way to many songs!
