I woke up late. I think because both cats were lying close to me and I could not move. So at 5 am I insisted they move so I could go to the bathroom. I guess they didn’t like being woken on my account! So they went nuts! Fighting, running, scratching, meowing! They win of course. I had to scratch and pet them until they were worn out to go sleepy again.
i did not get to do my exercises. I also gained a lb, I had pretzels and chocolate before bed! It’s not fair.
it seems pretty chilly outside so I wore sleeves and pants. There was an art auction online at noon so we needed to do breakfast fast. I had cold cereal with fruit. We put the auction on in time. I didn’t bid for stuff but saw a couple of things that fit into my collections. One was a tarkay with a man..unusual. The other is a Marcus Glen with hearts that I have seen many times.
We watched until the end. About 3pm. We decided to go for our walk. We passed the geese broken into families. We noticed the campground was fairly quiet. It makes sense since Sunday people go home and new folks come in. In fact the one in front of us left and an RV was literally waiting for him to leave and drove in right behind him. The spot is nice it looks on the pond! The tent area was nearly empty everyone left.
we came back and there wasn’t enough time to relax before the evening art auction at 7pm. I did my emails and stuff. It was time for dinner. I made salmon but I broiled garlic and small cut tomatoes in the oven first. Then I added the salmon on top and cooked that in the oven. It was pretty good I added a salad and rice.
we finished in time for the 7pm art auction. It is fun just to see what people are willing to pay for stuff. The prices were fairly reasonable. I did bid on the Marcus Glen with hearts I’ve seen it for years. It fits my collection! I can’t go without getting something! Oh stop shaking your head!
well I wanted to write this before getting ready for bed. I like to settle down and read. I am reading another Philippe greggory the lady of the rivers. I was into English history in another life. I got my teaching degree in history. I wanted to get my masters in England. My dad was a big no. So I ended up getting it in public health , got a job with FDA as an inspector and with the degree I moved up to investigator. I then made more money than a teacher. We eventually moved to headquarters in MD. There eventually became an expert in medical device legal cases. I got it before the lawyers. Anyhow, much more than I wanted to tell!
My point was I still like to read English history. Of course I don’t remember it like I use to in my former life. I like historical fictions stories.
Anyhow, I am tired from all the art. .It is not as exciting as seeing them in person on the cruise ships!.
I hope it gets warmer it’s in the 50s at night way to cold for my blood, hey I’m not from the north!
