I want to stay positive but the internet here is the worst ever! I am glad for the moment I GOT ON AND AM ABLE TO WRITE. But, I am standing on my head and my left arm is up so I can write with my left! Just a clue how bad it has been here.
There is not much to report either so it’s easy to do 2 days in one. But, it’s the little thoughts that go missing. Like the man who was walking 3 Goldens and stopped to talk and the leash’s got wrapped around his foot. He was lucky he did not fall. Funny, but not!
I have been taking the time to cut up over 5 years worth on magazine recipes and sorting them by type. It’s messy but I enjoyed this project.
Now it won’t take me forever to find a chicken recipe. I just take out the folder and look up either thighs, breasts, ground, sausage and I am good to go.
Last night I made scallops, oh were they outstanding.!,,, I put them in a bag with flour and spices. Then seared them with garlic wine and oil and spices. Then made a Tomato sauce with pasta. Yummo!

I am going to try again. They have a loop here with nearly all cabins. This is camping when you give it up!
We are near a ski mtn so it seems clear these folks come to the cabins for winter time. Check out this wood pile!

Yesterday was the fourth we watched the DC fireworks on TV. Rather impressive is my opinion. Lots of colors including green and orange which I haven’t seen before. I thought this place would be more crazy. But when we took our walk there were still spots available. There wasn’t the usual scream of kids, bikes everywhere loud drinking parties.
Well I want to take a walk. We will be here for 10 more days, help. It’s too bad but about the internet because the park itself is nice and lots of shade. It’s 90 degrees out and I’m not sweating the humidity that soaks you in FL is just not here. So going out is a piece of cake!
I love you guys hang in there with me for the next 10 days. The blogging will be sporadic. Even my jet pack doesn’t work well.
