The days are running into each other I can’t tell one from the other. Yesterday was rather crazy and went by so fast.
El decided to make matzoh Bri, it’s a Jewish thing with fried matzoh and egg. I loved it as a kid. When we went to the Amish store at the last campsite they had matzoh for .29! Really. So we bought 3 boxes! What else can you do with them?
After breakfast we went on a walk. El has been wanting matzoh ball soup again. It was an over cast day and we were going no where. We walk this place and it is not as big as the others. There is not a challenging climb for me, like a hill. Ok so I am getting older and need a hill, not a mountain,
The place isn’t crazy yet. But, wait till fri sat oy vey! I came back and we have sausage from the butcher made fresh. The real thing! So first I made pasta sauce with sausage, yummo! Then I made the soup again yummo! We had some for dinner, no wait it was dinner! Maybe. Small salad on the side.
After dinner I tried to catch up on emails they are down to about 47. It is good we have internet, but No Tv! You just can’t win! I was so exhausted I went to bed.
So, that brings me to today Thursday. We had a big rain storm funny how loud it is in the RV, the pounding on the roof! It’s a wow! Then I decided to work on my fish recipes. Do you know that salmon recipes indicate skin on and skin off. And, skin on is cooked in the oven the most and skinless in the pan like sauté. You learn new things everyday.
Then I made dinner, we cooked the sausage and made pizza on frozen cauliflower dough. I don’t think my oven is good for this it is too small. They were great but the dough in the middle got soft. Sad to say I actually ate pizza with a fork and knife! I’m banished from NY!
I am suppose to be listening to a virtual art auction. Oh stop shaking your head! But, our walls are rather full..u think? I therefore saw no point in listening, but seeing the art would be fun and enjoyable….to me and El. I know I have boxes in the den and stuff to be delivered yet. I can hear the comments you know!,,,
Well I guess I will go read. My book is way long, not an easy read, it’s rather English history. I am plowing thru. I will then get back to book club books I need to read.
Oh we went for another walk after dinner. The crowd is starting to fill up. Now this is how our beautiful RV looks!
I hope y’all are taking care. It seems like this camp ground doesn’t find the virus an issue. Folks in the store don’t wear a mask! Really!
