Another day in Ohio. But, it is beautiful outside and the campground folks are rallying to get in the dirty river! It is the color of mud.
But, don’t let that stop anybody from going in. We had pancakes for breakfast they were thick. I put Vermont’s blueberry syrup on them with fruit. Yup the calories went sky hi and so will my weight tomorrow. But, you gotta splurge sometimes.
We decide to take a walk. The place is jumpin with trucks it’s insane! There is suppose to be only 2 cars to a site.
You really can’t tell where one starts and one ends! It’s pretty nuts. Kids bikes are just everywhere. You have to watch out for them they race around the roads.
We walked to the river to see what was happening and now we know where all the people are in the river.
We thought the pink flamingo was pretty and holds a lot of folks!
There were kids climbing trees and jumping off. Some were swing off ropes tied to the trees and jumping in. It was definitely crazy. I have other pictures but this gives a fun look. I didn’t see any floats with beer. Maybe that is later in the day it is only about 3pm.
We took a long walk back. It is a perfect day for these folks in the water. Good for them. We came back and at was glad for the a/c the sun is hot. I worked on my recipes. I am putting together fish now. I actually finished the category tonite. Only 2 left, veggies and others. I need more supplies.
Time for dinner. Since we have the sausage left from the other night I am putting together, sausage, kale, and white beans. I add my other stuff like onion, garlic, spices, I had some tomato sauce and threw that in.
It came out so delicious! I’m proud of that one. Talk about throwing the meal together. And of course the wine!
I am catching up on my emails. I am working on my promotion stuff. And I am hacking away at the neighbor next door , Facebook and stuff.
I wanted to sit outside today. But, this recipe thing takes over. It will be done soon and I still have August to go!
