We arise I finally do my exercises. We have breakfast of cereal. We don’t have a kitchen like in Hilton properties. We have half a frig and a microwave.
After a while several phone calls later we leave to do errands. First we go to a appliance store to find a microwave. Before we left I did some internet digging for a sturdy good microwave. Several reviews had this GE over the oven model.
The man shows us his GE models and how crazy is it that he has the exact model I read about! How often does that happen? The mechanic is buying us a new microwave. We pick it up. Not easily because his instructions to the warehouse included 2 driveways past a 45mph sign. Well it’s 3 of them later. But, they loaded it in the truck.
Then we had to drive to the machine shop which had the new axels. They were loaded in the rear.
We left the cats in the room. Luckily we meet the cleaning lady and told her we need cups, garbage bags and new towels. But, you can’t come in. She saw ghost thru the door and thought he was a beautiful big white cat! That’s why you can’t come in! We traded cups, garbage and towels!
We got the microwave and axels and then drove to our RV. We give them the stuff. The owner is not there but he is on the way. One hr late he shows up. Meanwhile the guys are installing the axel. The owner shows up and El goes to look with him.
Oh vey there is more that is wrong. I don’t get it totally but the springs and bushings are gone? Oh ya there is more to fix just add it on. I sit and wait 1&1/2 hrs. El is bull shifting with the guys. I want out it’s hot the RV is boiling. Oh who knows when we will leave here. I grab some more food and a bag of wine.
We got there at 4:30ish and it was 6:30pm, I’m done. I walk in the office where the men are yapping and I yell let’s go! We leave around 7pm. El ties down what needs to be, they place blocks in case of bad winds.
The storm is suppose to go by VA tomorrow.
The cats are ok. I didn’t like leaving them for so long. El feeds them.
I start dinner cod, broccoli and corn on the cob! AND I MADE IT ALL WITH A SMALL MICROWAVE!, you would be proud! Washing dishes in the bathroom sink. Using a top drawer for dishes and such.
I even made a garlic, onion, tomato, basil sauce for the cod with lemon! El loved it. That was a major accomplishment!
Well I have the 2nd to last piece of BD cake! I love my friends!
The place where we went to buy the microwave, or pick one reminded me of my friends store in VT. Oh, would I love to have the refrigerators. Oh the the washer dryers so deep and huge! And gas stoves with massive choices. We even saw a frig with Kerrig coffee spigot on the door of the frig! Soo cool!
Well we have dinner and I am tired. It wanted the update to continue. Really thanks for continuing on it’s probably better than the rest. Hey, one day at a time!
