I Get up and didn’t remember it’s my BD until El says it. Really? I am 70? It sounds older for sure! I went thru a lot to get to this age!
But, I am still hanging in there!and great big thank you for all the wonderful well wishes. I am blessed with good friends and family!
I put on some nice clothes just because it’s my BD. We were going to Walmart to replace the tv which crapped out last night.
Then we went to the food store to buy greens we were out. It felt good to be in kitchen again and not cooking in a microwave.
We left the food store but El decided to take me out to dinner for my BD. We tried to find parking at Farnsworth house so we find parking at Dobbins house. They had I outdoor dining under a tent and it was steady going.
I had a crab cake sandwich and El had an open faced Ruben with smoked turkey. Both were delicious. El ordered a side of green beans but they charged $5.00. A bit steep.
It was very nice time. We came back to the RV and I am having watermelon and bourbon cream! Great combo! Don’t knock until you’ve tried it!
Well love all of you who continue to stop by and read my blog. By now it should have been over. I should be on a cruise! But, life has a way of moving on. You always have to find the brighter side!
Now that I think about it, the cruise would have been more interesting and the blog would have continued! oh well hopefully I will take that cruise next year in October! But, one day at a time!
