We took our time leaving as the next place is only about 30 miles away south. I guess we left about noon. I forgot to mention the pretty butterflies at this campground. They were yellow and orange and black with orange. I’m too slow to get a picture.
We drove here and when we got here it was too soon. So we drove down the road and waited 20 mins. We opened the windows a little so we don’t melt. The closer we get to Florida the more we remember what humidity means. It’s oppressive! We are waiting in the car and we hear a thump. What? Ghost got on the top of the back seat and snuck out of the window! Panic!
We both jumped out and he was by the stairs noticing the door is closed. He ran under the RV then ran out. Now he is panicked where do I go? So I called him and he came running! My heart was pounding it was as if I did 100 lunges!,,
We got our spot to camp. Long site. Luckily the RV in our front door is not there, so the view is the woods pretty much.
We go ahead and set up the RV and unhook the truck. I was bringing stormy in and these 3 girls came running to pet him. I let them it’s usually ghost who gets all the attention. they told me they are full timers. They couldn’t be more than 10 yrs old. So like how do they do school full time? The parents need money from somewhere? Interesting!
El is telling me all the changes done to make this a better campground. I don’t remember coming here. He knows everything about this place. It amazes me how he remembers every campground. But, does he remember where the city of Pompeii is? Ha no!
I don’t remember dinner. I remember I fell a sleep on the couch. I woke and went to bed. I am worried how long we will be here.😨 the storage place must get the electric hooked up!
