6am, it is cold and dark outside and I am awake to start my day! Really?
This is our worst travel day but we are finally leaving Yemassee yippee!
I stretch my neck get dressed. Luckily I prepped some things last night. But I did remember it’s a long day so make sandwiches. I get to the frig and sandwiches are already made?
Elliot says I made them last night. I had zero, none, nada recollection of making the sandwiches. Scary! Of course I forgot to mention I had a big glass of sherry, then a big glass of wine and together they did me in😨. Oh well, I felt no pain! Well maybe a drop of a headache. I’m allowed I’m old enough! Or is it too old.? I remember my college days, no we won’t go there!
Anyhow we get together and left a little after 8am. The ride was very long. We had two traffic issues, construction of 4 lanes into Two; twice we ran into that issue. But, other than that it went fine. But we didn’t get here until 5ish. 9 hours! I was a bit stiff. I had to relax my neck. But I’m ok. I read a book most of the time. Played with the cats, did sudoku. Oh and the hywy has these pretty pink flowers in the middle
We stopped for gas and I keep thinking about getting my son on the other end of the USA an RV. We have seen so many little ones
We finally get settled in our RV. I decide to make soup and salad. We have glass bottle of French mushroom soup. Pretty crazy. We got it from that Amish store. It was pretty good, I put the kitchen sink in a salad and we were good.
Well I’m tired since I got up so early and we have to go ride again tomorrow but not nearly as long.
Oh I forgot to add these elephants, like our turtles only big. Don’t know why they were there?
Well thanks for hanging in there with me! We are on the last of our journey. I am think another 2weeks or less. I am ready to go home.
I saw a statistic that 84 folks are tuning in. I didn’t think I knew 84 folks. I hope it at least this blog gives you a smile.
