It is going to be a long travel day. Up at 8am, I know it’s early for me! I don’t have time to exercise. We have cold cereal for breakfast. Then it took an hour, yes an hour to find out where we can get diesel gas!.
Before getting into the car the cats and I heard these two birds making noise at each other but it was loud! I finally found the birds if they were 2” it was a lot, cute with a red color.
We close up and that alone is a process. I’m a little rusty but will catch up quick! Cats in the truck! Now I can put away the stuff around holes that the cats might get into. Like in and under the lazy boys, the sides of the bed, just for examples.
We stop for gas and pilot coffee. It was like grand central station. I realize most don’t know what that’s like chaos and cars, huge trucks and campers big buses.
I read my book some more I think I’m getting to the end. I do a suduko, these hard one are hard! I know it says so but I thought so what! Fooled me😖.
Stop for gas again now it’s past lunch time. El wants sardines and crackers. Well I dumped the liquid in the trash bin. Do you have any idea what it’s like to take sardines out of a can put them on a cracker and give it to the driver while two cats are trying to eat the can! Yup that was fun my jeans now have sardine gook!
We finally get to the campground. It’s one we have been going to for years. It’s nice right on 95. Yes you hear the cars and the trains that go by. But, the have a pretty lake with white swans. They have expanded and is quite big. They even have nice glass table and chairs!
It was late so I made spinach tortellini and a salad and wine. In fact the wine was so good we drank the bottle. Organic green fin, I think red wine, Trader Joe’s!
