THE LAST DAY! AT the sisters house! Us, mom, and bro arrive at the same time 10 mins late oh no! (What does that u about the afternoon)
We have to go thru the Garage to get to the back yard. Not aloud in the house. The noise of the cicadas are freakin deafening!! So loud! Not only that the tables were set out in the back. There were tiny bugs that you had to keep swapping continually. We are eating out here with the noise and bugs? One of the cascades went right into My husband ick!Really? Horrible!
Well one of the 3 bros didn’t get a shot of vaccine! We must shun him and suffer. Oh but wait there is a change! The cars were moved from the garage and everyone moved tables and chairs into the garage so we can eat there! A little less noisy. The door was kept up. can’t say I ‘ve eaten in a garage before.
So we had to keep a distance and wear a mask to go into the kitchen and get food buffet style. There were bagels, smoked Salomon and the stuff that goes with that, there was cheese blintzes, a squash dish and egg and spinach dish, and a jello with a creamy topping. The jello was good and the blintzes were good. For dessert mom made a blueberry cake and her famous chocolate cake to die for!
It was nice to see everyone under weird circumstances. The bro who didn’t get a shot had a little tray and chair away from everyone to eat.
The sisters daughter and husband were there. Nice folks and 2 boys age 2&4. The kids were cute. So we’re mine at 2 &4 look at them now!
In fact my Florida son is in a jam he created but tuff to fix. He needs another kidney dr and he needs a kidney med refill and is having trouble getting it. It is always something with him. I luv him with all my heart he had had 3 kidney transplants! And I am proud w/o me his is trying to work this issue out.
I love my other son to death as well he is Washington as in state and has his share of issues too. Their father died a while ago and I am trying to be a good mom but i just DONT know. Anyhow to move on…
We ate in the garage and his mom sat next to me. She is so adorable she is my idle! She is 93 and drives and cooks and has a life and her own apt! I want to be like her! She even gets her hair done!
The sister sat with us for a while and eventually the non shot bro moved his chair over. If he was in the home getting food no one was aloud in. You were not aloud to use the bathroom.
Anyhow, it was good to see everyone, I went to say goodbye to my brother in law and he stepped back and said no touching. Well ok let’s go.
We drove back not too much traffic. Mom wrapped a bit of chocolate cake and blueberry for our ride to the RV.
We settled back In our RV. We shared a can of soup for dinner and had the walnut bread from Dobbins which was fantastic! It reminded me of my lunch with my friend, I so wish we were closer in distance.
I think we watched tv and then I went to bed to read. Thanks for stopping by tomorrow we move on to Hersey PA. Yup, the one with the chocolate!
