We finally made it to Ohio. It was a few hours drive. When we left the campground and saw some folks had a wood pile that was seriously for the winter. (Glad I don’t live here)

We drove on the hywy and it was like the LIE. (Short for Long Island Expressway)! Serious trucks the wheels were higher than our truck! They were also gigantic with what 16 or more wheels. We saw logging trucks with huge trees.

Then we are driving and crawled to 10mph! Oh no! We were stuck behind a farmer!

The scenery was spectacular farms and crops as far as you can see. But, if you think of Ohio is that what comes to mind?

The crops and animals are never ending. We saw cows, both brown and the black and white, goats, horses, and chicken houses.
Finally we came to the camping road. It runs along the River and there are plenty of businesses renting tubes & canoes.

The road to the campsite is pretty too.

Well we finally got to the campground and parked our RV. It’s upsetting that the sites by the River were reduced to less electric hookup. It used to be 50amps now it’s 30! So if you have 2A/Cs you can’t run them.
However we can see the River and if the sites in front of us don’t fill we can walk there and take pics of the folks coming down.
Poor Stormy again vomited on the mats. He is so nervous. He drools like crazy. We will ask the vet if he needs a tranquilizer?
Well we set ourselves up. I made baked salmon with a Chinese sauce, hoisin with a touch of sweet chili, soy and garlic with a touch of lemon. Then baked the asparagus and corn on the cob. It was yummo! oh and don’t forget the wine!
I hope you enjoyed the pictures. I hope so I try to take a bunch. It seems so rural around here. We will see what we can get into.
Thanks for hanging in there with me.
