I was awoken by a push by my husband. It was 9:30am! What the heck? He was up at 5:30am trying to reach the mechanic every hour and he got him! We have an appt next week! He may have to get a new part! Ok let’s not think about that until the day arrives!
We had chocolate waffles with cut up fruit for breakfast! Yummo! I bought maple syrup it was awful. I guess I should have paid attention. It is amber with no taste.
It is laundry day! Oh it’s a big deal. It is not like you take the clothes and dump them in. You have to get the laundry bag and fill it with the dirty clothes. Then you have to find the quarters to operate to machines it cost $2.00 a wash.. Then you have to walk over to the laundry room. Lucky there was 1 machine open. There is only 3. you have to load the quarters and dump in detergent packets and carefully load the clothes that go together in the machine. Like you don’t put underwear in with heavy towels!
Luckily the lady who was using the other 2 machines came by. She removed her clothes and put them in the dryers. I got to use the other machine for the rest of my lighter clothes. I returned to RV. After 20minutes I had to walk back to move my laundry. There were 3 dryers one was out of order. The other two were in use. So I waited for the lady when the dryer stopped and she removed her clothes so I could put mine in. Luckily she was using 2 dryers and removed the clothes from the 2nd. I put my clothes in the 2 dryers. They run extremely hot. I used both. I put the heavy Jean shorts towels in one and the thin shirts underwear in the other. .25 for 10 minutes. Then you go back to the Rv and return in a half hour to fold the clothes put them back in the laundry bag to carry back to the RV. Then you have to take them out and put them away! It’s a freakin process!
We have company next door. I was hoping for at least one day with no one there. A huge 5th wheel which is a toy hauler. They took out about 7 kayaks. They have an enormous Great Dane nice dog.
I did my checkbook today. I found two entries in my book that weren’t in the bank statement! How the heck does that happen? At least I figured which entries they were. But how it happened is my guess?
We sat outside it was another beautiful day! I finished my book. I would recommend it only if you are interested in English history.
We made steak for dinner with corn and green beans. We haven’t had steak in a while. We don’t eat red meat too often anymore. It was a treat!
