Aug 7-11 Loudenville Ohio to Elkhart Indiana

CRAP I haven’t written in 5 days! I can’t believe it! I will try and pick up pieces I recall from each day. I will start with

8/10/21. This one is easy. We woke up at 6:45 I don’t think it was light outside yet? But it is moving day and the threat of doom from torrential rain and thunder got us up early. We prepared for today the day before so it’s not as difficult. We were on the road by 9:30am. The rolling hills and mtns are pretty. But, the rain was awfully nuts. Not to mention the wind! It was blowing the RV and that’s a lot of weight.

I think we got to the campsite around 5:30 and parked. The RV made it. We did see a fallen tree in the road. We did see limbs everywhere. Even the campground had issues with tree limbs.

We were tired he had a rougher drive than usual and he was tired. So I made salads and soon after we both passed out.

8/9/21 I was happy to finally get out of here. It is a nice campground but to stay so long! The couple next to us recently sold everything and became full timers. We have met more than we ever have on this trip. I am not sure I can do it. Maybe when I’m older. Wait I am older! Well not yet.. we went for a drive to get gas I mean diesel. I am thinking because of the rain storms we had trouble finding something that would work. Pretty crazy! We finally found some but you had to go inside to pay. We walked around the campground again but there is not much to see. This place is weekend stuff. I made tenderloin for dinner. It is getting time to shop again we have to have our greenies for dinner!

8/8/21. I think my son got his first kidney transplant from his dad, maybe 1990. We celebrate the day. I don’t remember doing anything but cleaning up the RV because we will be leaving soon.

8/7 I really don’t remember this day at all. Although, I think we took Our cat for a walk. A long one it was beautiful weather. It was strange cause there were no kids running to pet him. I hear school is starting in august here so that’s probably why it’s so empty.

I took some pictures during these days so let me share them:

Pretty the different fields

Fields of short horned cows
Log cabins for sale isn’t this beautiful?
Look close you can see baby cows
An example of the many tiny homes!
Corn fields forever.

I am so sorry I haven’t written with over 100 followers, I am most grateful that you read my blog. I’ve been so tired every night oh no I know why! Pomegranate Tequila!! We bought it in Mexico on a cruise! Powerful delicious stuff! We have been drinking it the past 3-4 days!

Stay out of the rain storms! Oh I heard Florida is due for a tropical storm. Stay dry! I also hear and read the d variant is out of control there too. Stay healthy. We still wear a mask in stores?
