I should have exercised but I didn’t I’m being lazy! I got up at 9am so had time. Got to get it together!
I got up and dressed and we had matzoh Brie. Don’t know if I spelled it right! But it is so yummo! You may have to be Jewish to eat it. Ha!
We put the plants out. They are getting green tomatoes! And our wandering Jew is wondering!
We decided to go to another Amish grocery R&S. You would never find it because it’s hidden inside a farm. But this one is a mix. It has the Amish packaged goods. It has the 50% off of canned goods and paper goods and jarred goods. Again brand names, organic. BUT… this one has some frozen foods and a bakery freshly baked today! So did we buy?
Of course are you kidding! I only spent about $100. a mix of canned and jarred stuff. A huge bag of frozen calamari, both circles and tentacles ready to cook! And Wrights bacon. I don’t know if you have tried it. It’s think and delicious! It is so fun!
I made chicken meatballs with corn and green beans. Initially we were going to have burgers on the grill! Mind you the rain which continued for some time was not predicted for today! I wanted a dozen donuts. They were at least 2X the normal size for $10.00. He wouldn’t let me😩 ok it was for my own good! They had gorgeous breads that called to me! I saw pepperoni bread. It reminded me of the Brooklyn NY lard bread. That was heaven. I got it back to the campground with a box of other stuff. Oh no 😖 I got cheese bread instead. It is still delicious!
Then we passed a bunch of cows with babies. When we left the store the sky opened up pouring rain! We ran for our rain coats and ran to put the billion bags in the truck. It rained on the way back. When we got to the campground it turned to a thunder storm. Yup it was messy and wet! We even got our plants inside.
Well my iPad is not picking up the internet even with my air card? Maybe the rain is interfering? So several of my blogs have not posted. It has upset me to no end!
I don’t know when you will get this because of my internet issue! It’s making me angry. But what can I do. Thanks for coming by even if it’s days later.
