Woke up at 5:45AM, before the sun or so it seemed. It is my policy during retirement not to wake before the sun!
But, the mechanics start at 6am. Sure enough we heard banging after 6am. We are at the mechanics over night. Not the only ones mind you.
I get up and dressed. I have stomach issues and now I have pain in my inner hip. I am limping! When I step on my right foot it hurts. It hurt during the night! What the hell am I having enough issues with my stomach why do we have to add a hip joint!
My cats are spooked with the banging and noise. We lost our white cat, looked in the chair, under table, in box, bedroom, under desk nope! I finally remember he knows how to open the cabinet under the sink! Yup, under the sink on the shelf! Ya gotta love them!
So they fix the leak, turns out the hitch is ok he needs to lift the RV more. I’m not sure? Fix the door. Fix the a/c. It was done within an hour or less! No charge! Awesome! Really nice guys and RV smart.
We leave the RV and get gas and stop at Martins, and get some veggies and smoked white fish and booze, 6 bottles of wine and bourbon!! The necessities!
We drove to the campsite. Left awning out ! Got called out by a driver! We made a wrong turn, but we got back on the hywy going right. It is the traffic around Indianapolis that was a pain. But, we made it and got to the campground with a good level spot.
I made pork loin for dinner with broccoli and corn. Only 2 corns left and we move on. We are headed home. That’s a good thing as we are going to see our son in Sept when we get back. One trip at a time.
