There is not much difference between Thursday and Friday. The name of the state changed. We had different breakfasts. Dinner to was different.
The drives are about 6 hours and the cats take a bit to settle down. We Don’t feed them right away and stop a couple of hours into the ride. Then feed them. They seem to not get sick and inhale their breakfast.
Yesterday the mountains were pretty. I like when you can several at a time.
I made calamari for dinner it was delicious!
Today we drove around Atlanta. OMG the traffic! I haven’t seen that many vehicles since I live in Florida! Maybe back in N Y on the LIE!
We also passed a pretty lake in Georgia
I almost forgot the rain! No pouring so you can’t see in front of you. Then lightening up ahead. Luckily we came upon a rest stop. We waited awhile and it calmed down.
We drove back on the highway the sky was weird gray then black. We got to our campground. They were hit by lightening so no electric. We could open our slides cause of the battery. Luckily at around 5ish the electric came on. That was not fun!
Well we are pretty close to home. Thanks for coming along. We didn’t venture out a lot as usual because of COVID. But, I have lots coming up!
Sept 8 we leave for WA to visit my son. Then in Oct we have a cruise. Then the end of oct/nov we are going to our time share in Tennessee.
