We had a slow morning and took our time. It’s fun to have a breakfast buffet to pick your food. I had blueberry muffin and an omelette,
I’m Allowed to eat anything today it’s my birthday! So we drove to my sons apt. We are doing glass today and it’s closer to him.
We drive to the glass museum it’s one of the noted museums of glass. The outside display is a statement
There are vases and wall glass and other glass things. I liked a few displays. Like this hanging display. It reminded me of the Las Vegas Bellaggio hotel.
Then there is the famous bridge of glass. It’s impressive individual glass pieces wrapping around each other.
This was fun to see. Pretty spectacular. As you keep going there is a cover over the bridge. Unfortunately I couldn’t get the full effect cause you have bend your head and neck back. I can only go so far. But it too is amazing.
Then we went to the glass blowing room. It is very impressive and very large. we watched them make a wine glass.
After we finished the museum we drove around and he took us to Renton along the water way. The restaurants were packed! Never saw so many cars in so many restaurants. The waterway is surrounded by condo bldgs everywhere. Lots of bikes riding some with electric. People doing their thing in open spaces. The mt Rainer is spectacular! We started walking along the way but my legs were saw. I felt older😫
We went to eat at Anthony’s in Point defiance park. We sat outside on the water. It was so nice. I love being with my son. We had calamari, shrimp, oysters and tacos! Yummo! And a desert with a candle! They charged for it too.😞
Well I was totally exhausted and we had to drop us off at the car. I don’t remember going to sleep. My thighs are sore from all the stairs.
