I woke up late it looked grey outside so I read for a while. Then got up and dressed and had French toast for breakfast. It’s so good. He cuts up fresh fruit every morning. So dump that with VT maple syrup and butter! I’m in heaven.
We decide to look for a wood bear to put outside. You see them everywhere around here. We couldn’t find the first one and called they changed their name! Then we went to another who had nothing. This is a kind of thing where you look at it and you got to have it! You have been there! After a few more stops, one was way out of town was closed!really? On a Wednesday! Argh!
Well we decided to get back it was getting late. The trees are getting more beautiful!
We got back in time to make dinner. I made a pizza. I put all the left overs on it. I sautéed them with onion, mushrooms garlic and kale. Then covered it with cheese! Yummo!
We got our things together and set out to see a show country time. We had a good seat. The first half were country songs. I knew most maybe 4 I didn’t know. So it was fun. There was a little girl and boy they were so cute! BUT, the second half was all Christmas songs. The costumes were so elegant with tons of sparkle. Even the guys had sparkle.
We then came back to our rooms. It’s been fun here. I enjoy riding around and seeing the beautiful mountain and trees. But you don’t realize the leaves fall. They were cleaning them where we are staying!
Oh and one more thing. I have been dying to get a picture of the smokies when they are smokin! Well I finally got it!

Well I hope you are enjoying the fall weather. I am glad I brought my fluffy fleece coat. Tonight it was zippered to the top. Going in the 30s. There should be a law! It’s cold here. No I realize it’s not winter but it’s cold enough for me. It’s a switch wondering which sweater or fleece your going to wear day after day!
