Well I’m several drinks to the sea so let’s see what I can remember! We got up a little late 7:45am as we had to be at the theater by 9am. So rush get dressed and to the breakfast restaurant!
It turns out it is not as wide spread as the main buffet. However, it has enough o enjoy a nice breakfast w/o the huge crowd of people.
At 8:55am we ran down to the theater and got a seat. It was a question and answer from the top 3 mean in the ship, captain , engineer and guest services. It was interesting hearing them telling their individual stories. There was an answer and question from the actress, skater, diver, and the man in charge of the entire theater and entertainment ship wide.
After that we went to find the art show. There were only four of us! Did they cancel no! It was weird and entertaining as well. He spoke of the history and evolution of some famous painters. This included some works from them. They cost in the thousands! Yup, over my head.
We went to that smaller restaurant and had lunch. I had 2 pastas one with seafood sauce and the other oriental noodles with a spicy sauce.
We then went back to the auction. I put my bid card up for 2 paintings. One you have to see . It looks like the whole in the earth broke displaying this magic water with turtles. You got to see it. It is the last of this painting. Awesome! Then we got another plate. If you been to my home you may have seen the plate we have. This one has the plate on a bronze plate. It so fits withthe other one we have on the wall.
When that was done I think we went up to shower and change it’s a dress up dinner. Not all folks take it to heart. I think this is wrong . Go to the buffet if you can’t get dressed up. The staff should say no to the folks in shorts.
So we finally got to dinner. Yummo! Lobsta tail. They gave 2 he ordered three. I wish I could but my tummy said no. My tummy is 2 sizes too big!It is going to have to say no a lot lately when we get off!! Got to loose these lbs before the next cruise in 2 weeks! Dessert was delicious baked Alaska!
We didn’t have a show tonite so we went to a bar for a drink. No one would serve m e! He had to go to the bar and order when he came back from the bathroom!, we both had old fashions. It was better the last one we had it was much more sweeter.
We left that bar but still had free drinks! So we went to the
rising bar. How to describe it? The bar a capsule in the floor of one deck. The ceiling is open. It rises very slowly 4 floors. I had a lemon drop martini. We got off and went to our room.
I put away our art receipt invoice we are crazy to be spending so much much money. The money tree out back is empty! It wants to be feed!
Well that’s my day. Hope you had a good one! We leave Sunday. It seems odd to take a cruise for a week.
