I had a bad night with a dry cough. it’s the worst, nothing comes up yet you cough. It seems like something is down there! I know TMI
I awoke around 7 am and he says we need to rise and shine! ready and dressed. But I wear a bathing suit top and shorts. We go to breakfast. We get in line and in front of us is a very large woman with a shear cloth across her bottom which clearly has a g string bathing suit bottom. She didn’t really have much of a top. This is the first time we have seen a host from the ship tell her she needs a cover to enter the restaurant! Wow we were stunned. The ships never follow any dress code.
Anyway we had breakfast and decided to go and see the island. A huge portion of which is water parks for kids. And cabanas and pools. Then there are chairs and beaches all around with eating areas. Hotdogs, burgers and corn.. We found beach chairs and umbrella. We people watched for a while. Next to us kids left their chairs but left food on the chair. Lookout about 20 or more seagulls came to steal the food. It was crazy!
So we decide to see the food. I got a panini withe grilled cheese and mushroom. He got a small chopped beef sandwich. They were ok. We looked at the sky and decided maybe we should walk back. We took a tram to go out. It was a nice good walk. We need to do that a lot more. We use to walk at home. We will start again.
We get in the door of the ship and boom thunder. Talk about luck!
I sat down and fell asleep. I woke in time for dinner which was lamb. I like it. Dessert was cherries jubilee. Or maybe baked Alaska can’t remember they were both excellent.
After dinner we went for drinks at our usual bar. They were having trouble getting the drink right. Weird. We then went to listen to the orchestra in a bar. It was nice to here them. We ran into the singers from the other night. I complimented them they were outstanding. They leave in 2 weeks when we get back on.
Well we we packed our suitcases tomorrow it’s over. It was a nice cruise for the price of a balcony. It’s a nice ship with tons of space and restaurants and stuff going on.
